Running the whole system is the latest Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS, although the system can also support MIUI (optional) which grants access to thousands of themes and app.

Premium Features. For a budget priced device, the Elephone P3000s offers a host of features found on other more expensive flagship Devices. Most noticeable of which is the built-in 4G LTE Support. The handset supports quad band frequencies Dual Sim Mode, as well as HSDPA, GPRS and Edge. Primarily, the handset 4G LTE supports FDD LTE which is accepted internationally and supports most carriers (Asia and other regions). Gesture Recognition and Sensing. The handset supports Double Tap to Wake, customized gesture shortcuts to open apps and Air Gesture for switching pages by just waving your hand.

Solid body and a large battery. Powering the hardware is a massive 3150mAh battery that is enough to last a day and a half even with 4G LTE enabled. The handset is also solidly built, although the back cover is made of plastic, the body is lined with a Metallic Frame. The ample size battery may have partly contributed to its thickness, at 8.9mm; it’s a bit chunky and thicker than other handsets of the same category.
