A new and affordable Windows tablet: Pipo W4
Chinese manufacturers continue to push down the cost for Windows 8 devices, and brand after brand are releasing their own entry level tablets using the best selling point there is: Cheaper.
Pipo announced via their forum the Pipo Work W4, powered by Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735F quad-core processor (22nm process technology, support for 64-bit computing). Equipped with 1GB RAM and 16GB of storage. The screen is a 8-inch IPS display at 1280×800 resolution, front and back cameras and 4500mAh battery. The Pipo Work W4 will be priced at 499CNY (81USD) when released, we can expect upgraded versions of this model with more RAM and flash storage.
